SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM CALL COMMITTEE & LEADERSHIP COUNCIL
PASTOR REKO ZECH TO LEAD WORSHIP EVERY SUNDAY IN SEPTEMBER
Beginning the week of September 8th, our Sunday morning services will begin at 11:15 AM. Pastor Zech will serve us throughout the month of September with pulpit coverage and with communion each Sunday.
Sunday School will begin September 15th and will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
On Sunday, October 6th, Pastor Zech will be away with his mom and family. We will have lay service coverage that day and immediately following service we will have a Congregational Meeting to discuss and vote on the opportunity to enter into an agreement with Pastor Zech as a Permanent Vacancy Pastor.

ALL WOMEN ARE INVITED! JUST BRING YOUR BIBLES AND THE REST WILL BE PROVIDED. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A BIBLE, WE HAVE EXTRAS. WE MEET EVERY SATURDAY FROM
9:30-11:00 AM.

SUMMER OFFICE HOURS:
Our Office Manager, Christina Wilhelm, will be in the church office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9am to 11:45am and 12:15pm to 1:30pm and Friday from 9am to 12pm. She is able to answer many of your questions about church activities. Christina can be reached by stopping in, calling (716) 434-8500, or emailing office@MtOliveLockport.org. Email and voicemail messages will be returned on Christina’s next scheduled work day. Articles for the bulletin should be submitted by Tuesday 9 AM each week.
WORSHIP SERVICES:
From Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend we Worship outside (weather permitting) in our beautiful Chapel In the Woods. Services are at 9:45 AM each Sunday. Services are being conducted by our Spiritual Care team with Guest Pastors volunteering their assistance when available. Communion Services will be posted on our website and weekly emails.
SPIRITUAL CARE TEAM:
The Spiritual Care Team provide visits and communion to our home bound and ill members. We thank Pastor Zech (St.Paul Lutheran Church) for consecrating the wine and bread. If you become temporarily unable to attend church services due to an illness, injury, or any other situation, please contact the office so you can be placed on the prayer list (and receive a home visit if requested). Please keep the office informed of any needs that arise during our vacancy.
EMERGENCIES
If a need for immediate or urgent pastoral care should arise, please contact our congregation’s President, Valerie Hamluk (716-695-5662), or Spiritual Care Team Leader, Cheryl Hayes (716-434-6184). They will arrange pastoral care for you.

In fact, He yearns to hold you in His arms! Looking for a church home is not easy. Stepping into a new church can be very hard. You do not know anyone, the worship is new, and you don’t know how you will be received.
I want you to know that you are invited and welcome to worship with us just as you are! Jesus once told a parable telling His disciples to invite everyone they meet, no matter who they are or where they are from.
That means you are invited!
If you have attended church since you were two or haven’t step foot inside a church since 1952 you are invited. If you
like wearing a three piece suit or your faded blue jeans to church you're invited. If you are rich or poor you are invited! If you are black, white, yellow, or green you are invited. If you have more problems than you can count, addictions, and struggles or If you are filled with joy-guess what? You are invited.
